Kay Zetlmaier has an extensive education in art. An undergraduate art major at Pasadena City College and Cal State University, Long Beach, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in 1972.

Postgraduate honors came later in life with a master’s degree in Humanities (painting empha-sis) from Cal State University, Dominguez Hills.

Her work, highly textured often evoke ideas reminiscent of the energetic environment.

An Annual Youth Art Show is one of the highlights of the year as well. She has shown her work at: Buenaventura Art Gallery, Forest & Ocean Gallery (Laguna Beach), Santa Barbara, Santa Paula Art Museum, Fox Fine Jewelry, and D.A.Davidson & Co. Gallery, including local venues in Ventura.
