The Ventura Botanical Gardens invite you to participate in the third annual Plein Air Paint Out. All participating artists must register in advance to be considered for the juried exhibition on May 1 & 2 (details on how to submit works for consideration will be sent via email to registered artists.) This event is open to local and regional artists, and students aged 14 and older.

The gardens are open to visitors both days, come enjoy the natural beauty and creativity in the air.

  • Friday, April 10 - Admission is free.
  • Saturday, April 11 - Admission is free for VBG members and children 18 and under. Admission is $7 for non-members and non-member artists.

Plein Air - Artist Exhbits

Join us at the Plein Air Artist Juried Exhibition in the VBG Fernery for an artist meet and greet. Artwork will be available for sale on a first come, first serve basis.
